Small world. When we were about 13- 14 year olds, my buddy’s brother had a ‘69 camaro. At the time, he was in country in Nam. His car was parked at my buddy’s grandads and we would occasionally slip into the garage, disconnect the exhaust from the headers and take it for joy rides. Nice. That plate has been on various cars now for years. It is starting to show it's age from all the sand and debris hitting it. It was purchased due to the fact the Me, my wife and my kids all have a 13 in our birth whether it be day, time, length or weight lol.
As for driving around in someone else's car...My best friend across the street from me had an older sister. When she was sleeping we use to take her car out and ride all over town. I believe we were about the same age as you and your buddy lol. It was only a Datsun though ROFL. Ahh the good ole days.
