Can not speak for the Mustang, but I took most of the pictures with my flip plate hidden, easier mounting on one side or the other, a little difficult to mount in middle but it can be done, and was getting ready to leave so I flipped the plate up before I left. ( have to remember to do that, been stopped by troopers twice ) and took a couple more pictures.
