I lean strongly to the concept that it is the time when convertibles are more popularly sold and with Mustang only providing options, it begs the question: how much of the summer surge of Mustang sales is attributed to convertibles. If it is a majority, then I would love to see next summer when our beloved Camaro is available as a drop-top.
The surge in Summer sales of the Mustang was solely because there was both 2010 and 2011s on the lots and Ford was throwing HUGE incentives at the now outdated 2010s.
