Not necessarily, but the LS2 had a very short life span from 05-07. If the Camaro is an 09 model, I see them possibly putting in the LS3 for a year and then throwing in whatever engine is next in line that will hopefully contain DOD, AFM, flex-fuel and all that crap that I want the next year. It kinda makes me think a bit.
I did happen to read wikipedia a week ago and saw the LS3 statement. I'm still not leaning 100% on the LS3 but it will sure be freakin awesome if it did come with it!
