I used to race Late Model Stock cars for a living for many years. Tire Stagger is very crucial. I like nitrogen in high temp applications. When you have RS tires above 200 degrees it makes a huge difference, because the nitrogen doesn't have the moisture like air, tire pressure and stagger were more predictable (they don't grow as much). As far as the leak thing, I can't comment about. Our tires would go flat over night, sitting. You spray a soap mix on the sidewall of a brand new mounted race tire, you'll see bubbles everywhere.
