Further review!

Ok, now we are going to do a little detective work after I have reviewed my pics.

I want to put this by each picture, but don't know how....

first picture is of SS axles, pretty beefy looking, now look at picture number 4.... that is supposed to be the ZL1 axle (MONSTER)

picture #2 is of several completed or almost completed SS rearends, the one on the left (without vented rotors) is the v6. NOW, look at how the differential carrier is BELOW the top of the cradle......NOW GO TO PICTURE #4 again...... see the cast iron carrier ABOVE the cradle...WOW....

Now, look at the sway bar on the SS rear ends...... it is hard to see, but you can clearly see the sway bar is INSIDE of the shock..... now go to pictures 4 & 5.... notice the Sway bar is OUTSIDE the shock mount......

OK, now for what I think is REALLY EXCITING AND POTENTIALLY THE BEST NEWS............ THAT ZL1 we saw...... was no where close to what the final product will be.... it isn't a beat on test mule..... it is a "SHOW CAR"....... why do I say this (besides the fact they say the car can't do over 30mph)....... because the underside of the car tells me so........ Take a look at picture #3..... see that LOWER CONTROL ARM in the bin in the front of the picture? It has an extra hole in it..... all 2012's (maybe only SS and ZL1) will have that new style.... it is made to accept the new position of the sway bar on the ZL1...... now look at teh picture of the underside of the ZL1.... there is no additional bracing like the convertibles have....which the ZL1 will have, no differential cooler (not show how many know that is supposed to happen), and finally.... look at teh lower control arm.... old style sway bar and mount, but it is the new style control arm.
