After 7k miles my 1-2 shift have finally caught the fever. Sometimes it does not want to go into 2nd and sometimes it feel sticky. I didn't feel confident taking my first gear pass 3k rpm sometimes due to possible grinding into 2nd.
So, after contemplating if I should give my dealer a visit for days.. I decided to give my transmission the royal purple treatment.
The outcome is "butter" all of my shifts just glide into gears and no more notchy and sticky feel. Although I did have some messy issues trying to get the fluid into the fill hole it was worth the 3 hours it took for me to get it done in this 90* afternoon
I think GM said that our tranny fluid is a lifetime fluid or 100k right?
Well... I made sure I took some pics. No wonder why my transmission was not happy.
Decide your self. This is only at around 7k miles.
