So, I wanted to start a quick thread now with the price being thrown at us with a lot of new things. What will the future hold in 2013.

ZL1 @ 55k & Shelby GT500 @ Unknown

I imagine the 2013 ZL1 will be a few more grand than the first production run of the 2012s. However, we now have a new question...will Chevy increase the horsepower even more for 2013 with then announcement of the 2013 Shelby GT500 putting out 650HP/600Torque in a 5.8L V8 on a 3850lbs weigh-in.

Let the debate begin...

I will say this...I hope that perhaps by the end of this platform or the beginning of the new platform we are told for 2015 that a Z28 comes out that is lighter than the current ZL1 and SS with some of the current technology used in the ZL1...not all but most such as the magnetic ride control features, lighter body components (ie carbon fiber) and some form of supercharger or a new generation rat motor.
