Also, there was a Chevy dealer in Toronto (Gorries or Garries Chevrolet) who, in 1967 reworked about 50 new 1967 Camaros with heavier suspensions, bigger engines, black exterior and gold interior. (similar to what Shelby did with the Mustang)
These Camaros were rebadged "Black Panther".
Supposedly there are only one or two left in existence. Extremely rare.....
Maybe Scott is eluding to this car?
