First pass ever on the new setup. Texas Speed 429ci LS3 with small bore LS7 heads Jake's Performance 4L80 Circle D 5c stall Here, this is my first pass off the highway. Banged the 2-3 limiter twice due to bad shift setting in trans, lazy footbrake launch feeling out the track (has a transbrake), converter still not set to lockup, ran 10.87 @ 127.9.
Lolol. I ran again with a harder launch, picked up 2 tenths in the 1/8, hit the brakes hard, still ran 11.41 @ 80 mph, and got sent home. Car's gonna be quick... then will throw the nitrous at it. Second pass got me kicked off the track, I have since added a fastlane cage. Hope to run at least 10.4-10.5 on motor
