If you go to talk to the judge you will be fine. I have got several speeding tickits and I always show the cops respect and I have had many tell me that if I request a hearing that the judge will drop the points and you will just have to pay the fine. IT WORKS!!!! With your situation I don't think you have anything to worry about. He even wrote on the ticket about a medical emergency. Hope your grandmother is ok buddy.
