Burnishing is what you want to do to carbon ceramic brakes like I had on the ZR1. You brake 60 to 0 fifty times in a row to actually change the make up of the rotor with the heat. Bedding the brakes on the camaro is moderate braking 60 to 20 mph maybe 10 times in a row(at a minimun) just to transfer some pad material to the rotor, then drive without braking until they cool. Tire Rack has an exellant write up on their website on how to do the entire procedure..
