Na, all you need is a jack and jack stands. I think its easier on the V8s to do headers on Jack stands because the only thing you can do from the bottom is slide them in. Then you need to go back up top. I managed to install mine myself with a 2nd jack to hold to hold the headers up. It will be a lot easier with a 2nd set of hands.

Good info! I knew the SS cars had all the hardware basically in a line, us sixxers have 3 up top and 4 below so we gotta be under the car for more than the removal and placement. I think I'm going to pull mine off soon and wrap with some header wrap to keep engine bay temps down. I've been debating it for a while but I figure the BBK LT's are easy enough to get to the hardware that I may as well go for it.
