There are quite a few 50+ degree incline in San Francisco and it never fails me. The only thing that I hate are retards that RIDE YOUR ASS CLOSE on a hill.
This made me laugh, I had an '01 manual Z28, and driving around Willimantic and Waterbury in CT plenty of hills to worry about - wow, I never realized it until now but back then I was using this same "four limb" method
