believe it or not, ran into another issue that needs to get hammered out before i reach max power. My car is losing 20-30psi fuel pressure after 5k rpms. It could be as simple as a clogged fuel filter, but I'll also have to check voltage to the fuel pump. Someone suggested running the power directly from the alternator, so I might try that. Aeromotive says it supports up to 1300hp on FI application, and it was falling on its face at 600whp....very disappointing...
The rev limiter is set to 5k rpms so i can track it this weekend, it makes 670whp/780tq @ 4k rpms.
Tonight, I'm taking the rotors off to be turned for this weekend, and swapping out the pads for my aggressive track ones. Also getting another set of R888s installed on the rear 19" rims. Got a lot to do before the CA fest this weekend in Bakersfield. Looks like I'm leaving San Jose around 3am, trailering the car all the way to Bakersfield, and the girlfriend is driving her camaro too. Let's just hope everything falls into place and its turns out to be a great weekend....oh and own some more GTRs and Vipers on the track!
