Speaking of rhythm - &EGBDF - the & represents the treble clef and EGBDF stands for Every Good Boy Deserves Favor (there are variations but this is the way I learned it). EGBDF are the notes that fall on the lines of the musical ledger whereas FACE represents the notes that fall between the lines. Back in the day we had music appreciation in school. That's what they taught as a study aide.

Music - jazz guitar particularly - has been a huge part of my life. The &EGBDF tag was a natural for me. I get musicians all the time striking up conversations when they see it.
