Seems to me what should have been done to the ZL1, the Z28 was more of a masses car. It just seems flipped to me..
The 1st Gen Z/28s were all 302 4-speeds. No automatic and no AC. Starting in '70, you could get an automatic. AC wasn't available until '73.
