I agree with Wondering. If GM were to have an LS7 available to put in, they would need to go through the drivetrain and suspension to warranty it and that cost $. I would say it would be in the neighborhood of 48k as a base for the 2SS, before any options. And don't forget the ADM's
unless you can get it from a dealer like Rogers Chevrolet
