3. Is the OEM shift knob needed to secure/maintain the leather shifter boot. In other words, will the OEM boot "ride up" the shifter and be loose if the OEM shift knob is replaced with an aftermarket knob.
The OEM shifter knob is pressed on so all the ones on your jegs.com link do not
