We also had a 1999 Z28 with some big parts on it and was previously been tuned by a local tuner, and easy should have put down 430-450 RWHP put down 365 RWHP because he was told it would be ok if he used stock 24 lbs injector as long as he didn't get on it much.
for two years he drive the Z28 and after 60% throttle it was in the 120% duty cycle. it lasted two years of 15.4 wot AFR and he's lucky an injector didn't stick open at wide open throttle.
I hate doing rebuilds, I want to car to fun right the first time until the power level exceeds the calibration. If he told me he had stock injectors on a heads and cam build, I would not have agreed to calibrate the vehicle until aftermarket injects were installed. Now he has purchase injectors so I can calibrate the car property.
