These LS series motors never cease to amaze me. Tampa Tuning calibrated a 2000 A4 Z28 Camaro with 266000
miles on it. The rear and tranny had been rebuilt about 60000 miles ago, but the motor wasn't and she ran like a champ.
Then we had to save a 2011 L99 Camaro which was tuned by another local tuner. The Camaro had bolt ons with shorty headers. The owner wanted a trained calibrator to review his last calibration. I realize calibrators have their own methodology to make power, but it shouldn't be at the cost of numbing the knock sensors, making the rev limiter 6700, shifting at 500 RPMs passed the power curve, having the fans on 100% all the time after 203 degrees, and loading it down with fueling to support timing.
