see in the above tweeter picture...the plates and two screws...well, you can pop off the rear chamber and that will fit in. Once it is epoxied in place and new wires soldered down, you have a much more shallow mount tweeter...I was doing this specifically for the a pillar in the camaro. Anyway...never played them. But, you can see the marks where I popped off the chamber. Nothing is hurt, pops in and out this way. If you decide to leave the chamber, pop it in place and roll with it. They MUST have a chamber on the back though...it's a ring radiator with a tuned chamber. Scott and I talked about it and with the reduction in chamber you would have a usable 6 or 7k and up. With the full chamber you can play them an octave lower.
