They are what they are. I guess all dyno's are a bit different and everyone throws hp numbers around, but they really don't mean much except for judging improvements to a specific car. As was said, its the numbers at the track that really count.
The weight diffence by GM specs is only 550 lbs, and I don't know if those weights are for base cars or fully optioned ones. Still a huge difference though.
