Yep.. They did rod bolts, bearings, rings though also.. That way you have a set file-fit ring gap meant for boost (Probably .0022-.0024 or so). The tolerances for ring clearances are .0007-.0021 by GM spec last time I checked.. Most of the failures that I have seen with boost and LSx motors are from the ring gaps touching and blowing the ringland/side of piston apart.

It's all just about a dyno number anyways. The point is that JRod uses and abuses this thing. We all know the territory we are in, this is done with 14* of timing on 93 octane + methanol, but Jaime will only run race gas & methanol at the track. There was C16 in the nitrous standalone.
