Shortening my npp exhaust so tips tuck more.

On my 13 ss I have the npp exhaust and I love it. However something I have noticed about the 13s is the tips usually stick out further than the later years. Maybe it's just me or maybe it's just my car but I'd like to tuck them in a little more flush.

My question is where would you cut. I'm pretty sure about and inch off the piping where it connects at my long tubes would suffice. But what I'm worried about running into is the hangers stopping it from sliding towards the front of the car the inch. Has anyone ran into this issue or have some Insight on exhaust hanger play on the npp
