The one you posted only has 5x 5050 LEDs and 4 of them are pointed sideways towards a rather inefficient reflector housing. Have you actually looked at these lights output side-by-side?

Here are my comparison photos. The biggest difference between the two is the color which is probably why it seems less brighter. The AAC has more blue/purple tint in it vs the competitor which is a true white.
