This just happened last fri...took my car in for a brake squeal that I had them look at last fall....just had the car out and its still doing it. Anywayeveryonce in a while I notice some smoke out the exhaust when I start..not all the time, just once in a while. I ask the guy at the service counter to have a look at it while fixing the brakes. He looks me right in the eyes and tells me the smoke is from oil dripping onto the exhaust. He said he sees it all the time. I said ..your telling me the smoke that's coming out of the exhaust is from oil dripping onto the exhaust.....he says yep. It was my turn to look him right in the eyes and ask him wtf he was trying to tell me. I still cant believe how dumb this guy was.
