Understand, and I am in the same boat with you on the learning curve. Don't want you to think I was bashing in any way. Plenty of power can be made with a 376. My shop is steering me toward the 427 just because it makes power more easily, but I have certainly considered staying with a 376.
Please keep us posted how the tune/dyno turns out! I am excited to hear all about it.
