The lsx376 b8 isnt much if any stronger than a stock Ls3 internally, is heavier and would likely make less power than a cammed Ls3 due to the lower compression. The lsx376 b15 is the next step up with stronger internals and 6 bolt heads. For less than 1000hp I would rather just have a stock Ls3 block with some nice forged internals than either of them.
