Exclamation Camaro Order Tracking Options and Tools

***Camaro order tracking options***

UPDATE: 15 Sep 2010

There are three options that you can use to track your Camaro order.

GM has Launched their tracking site at http://www.chevrolet.com/ordertracking/

Second is CamaroTracking.com. They are a full service website that will send you email updates from order to delivery. They have very knowledgeable and helpful folks over there who can answer any of your questions.

And thrid is our own Camaro5.com tracking thread here. Thanks to the volunteer assistance we are also able to post manual updates regarding your order up to when your car is shipped. Please follow the instructions in that thread.

*Useful Links and Tools*

Chevrolet.com - Track Your Order - GM's Tracking site will allow customers to log-in and watch the status of their new Chevrolet as it goes through the production process and finally ends up at their dealership of sale. Additionally, consumers will be able to see a 360 degree image of the vehicle they've purchased (trim, color, most options/accessories), vehicle build information and window sticker, and selling dealer information amongst other things.

Click here to view Initial Order Event Codes - Click to view the various event codes which are used by GM to manage the production of your vehicle. The previous link should be used to track any car with a code of 3800 or less.

Click Here to Track VIN and Window Sticker - Provides a service where Camaro5 members can find their window sticker for their car. It also allow you to view many other cars being built and gives you the opportunity to see which color combinations/options are popular and which are rare. A very fun tool to use! This tool will only show your cars window sticker around the time the car is scheduled for shipping and dealer invoicing.

Railyard dist. center info - Great information on how to use the rail system to get updates on your car. Follow the directions closely.

A ton of the credit has to go to UCFWoot, Hylton, BeckyD@RodgersChevrolet, The Viz and 2010 SS RS. Each has played a valuable role in their respective tools above.
