The one good thing (or bad) depending how you look at it. We don't have yearly inpections. Just a smog check every two years and if your vehicle is new it doesn't have to be smoged for 5 or 6 years.

I was under the misimpression that you all had more vehicle manufacture restrictions on the vehicles...though perhaps I should have stated that opening up the air restrictions on the engine and exhaust were what I was actually getting at in the long run. I am pretty sure there use to be a difference back in the day between a california camaro and the rest of the U.S. such as the second generation the latter years 78-81. Any information about that to verify or dispel the illusion?
