Nice! I like these stripes. I was over in Europe this summer (England and France) and found it interesting that the Europeans refer to these stripes as "American racing stripes".
I e-mailed my bro-in-law over in England a picture of the 2010 Camaro pacer, then called him. His immediate response on the phone when he opened the e-mail was "Bloody hell, those American racers look nice don't they?" I responded that a lot of Camaro owners were upset at the "Shelby stripes". He laughed and said, "Shelby? No, no, no. Tell them Shelby copied them. That should get their motors running".
These stripes may have become linked with Shelby, but yes... credit where credit is due. Cunningham came up with an awesome idea. They're gorgeous, especially if edged with pin stripes.
