I hear you Top Down, but this upgrade is only for people that want to stay OEM and keep their warranty.

There are better options for sure for the money. But per your contract with the GM warranty you officially will lose it if you modify the system in any way (please read it). While some dealers will look the other way, others will not.

Ten years ago I had a ford cougar. I had modified the stereo and it developed a electrical problem (not related). Ford was was not going pay for the 3500.00 fix. I ended up going to 4 dealers and the last one had mercy on me and fixed it via warranty. Close call.

The point is: The GM dealers don't have to honor your warranty if you modify your cars electrical system, regardless of what people say in the forums...Just my 2 cents.
