I agree. The 2008 Corvette was the first one I really wanted. Mega upgrades, mid-model run refresh. LS3 engine, etc., etc.
You can get a brand new 2008 Corvette cheap. Some are sold for $39,995. None are stripped, they all have decent equipment. Just no side air bags on the entry 1LT model. Start at 2LT. But, they may try to screw you on financing, and/or trade-in value.
I'm going to sell my trades, and get outside financing, so I just hand the dealer a check.
Corvette weighs 3217lbs, Camaro 3960lbs. One of the bigger differences. Near same horsepower from LS3.
I want both Camaro and Corvette. Time will tell.
