Donna, are they not doing any 2K primer on the hood? I would never paint directly on gelcoat.

BTW, paid a visit to Ms Scarlett today...she is doing FANTASTIC!! Even half way done she looks PHENOMENAL!! They said your Z Force hood is the best fit they have seen on an after market hood and were very impressed!! They were getting ready to start the stripes. I got a couple snap shots:
