Yes you are correct. I do have the front piece but I never planned on installing it because I felt that the original lower fascia has the perfect built in spoiler. If you look at the lines of the car, the original fascia lines up with the door body line so it makes for a very uniform look.
My plan was to customize it but make it still look like it could have come from the factory this way. Another thing I like is that I used all GM parts to get this look.
