well - it took nearly 3 weeks but finally got the car back-
Really impressed with GM and their warranty dept. as well as the dealership-
Even with my modifications and the tune they still honored the warranty.
Turned out the oil pump itself was the cause of the oil pressure problems and after replacing the bypass valve and the pump- they went through and tore down the engine and replaced anything with any signs of wear on it.
Anyway- long story short- car is back- running great - and despite the modifications, they covered everything including a rental for the 3 weeks under warranty.
ha... now ive got 3 weeks of car parts ive been buying stockpiled in the garage to put on this weekend
