As far as legality, that varies from state to state. I know that almost all dealerships sub out all their exhaust work. Just hit one of your local shops and have em cut it out. It should run under $100 and will be the best money you ever spent. Its a lot better than most of these high dollar systems. I have an SLP Axle back system that I am probably going to remove.
