Ok So here is my story and car, and picture build thread!! (it may be a long read but its worth it!!!)

My Name is Gordon, AKA Mohawk!

First off this car was a dream come true and couldn't have been done without the support of my Wife I owe her alot and cannot thank her enough for her patience and support through this whole event and process.

A little background and history leading up to the build:

I had a dire yearning for the new Camaro just as many people I assume after watching the Transformers movie, but I wanted one and wanted it fast, built and better than any car i have ever owned, (3 Mustangs, 3 Camaros, 86 Chevy monte Carlo...) So when i finally had the money to buy whatever car i wanted within reason i hemmed and hawed on to either rebuilding a classic or making a classic! Making one won in my mind. So as i was getting ready to take new orders in the Navy, i found out i was going over seas to a wonderful tropical paradise we all know as Afghanistan! Yea so when i found this out i thought great when i return ill get my car and build it, but.......little did I know my wife wanted me to get it before I left, (i think she knew my plans already). So i purchased my 2011 Inferno Orange 2SS/RS in July of 2010. And well the rest is history!!! ......Just kidding!

So like i said i was heading to Afghanistan and that i did in August 2010. So as i settled in my job and numerous internet searches and findings and getting me all excited to the brink of craziness, i finally found and figured out what my goals and ambitions for this IOSS were. So here we go the build:

There is no where else that i believe would have built this car any better and any cheaper with out being one bit of cheap!!

Someday i hope to turn this car over to my son in hopes of the Father son dream car wish every little boy has i think when there Dad owns a cool sports car, and hopefully in 2030 the 2011 Camaros will hold as much respect as a 1967 one does to this day. I know cars will never be built and warrant the respect as the cars who paved the way to American Muscle but I hope at least it will be somewhat the same to him when hes 25 or so to take the keys to this bad boy! I know i would love to have had my Dads sports car god bless his soul! And up from heaven i hope he is looking down and with a smile on his face proud of the job ive done and the car i built, he was a gear head and as much as anything in the world I wish he was here to expirience this and teach me, I hope i did him proud!

So thanks for reading all, enjoy the pics and to my SO Cal HT5 Family and friends ill see you out there and we be turning....Heads that is!!
