best results :thumb up: 2nd will allow you to punch it on straights and will slow you down for turns. but drive and sport do that anyways. so....

Why so scary? Think of it this way regarding the 1/4. Your going in a straight line on a sticky track that was desgined to do exactly what your doing. The V6 in a stock form will only hit about 94MPH. I'd rather spend 14.5 seconds going 0-94 in a controlled place than cruise along at 75 on a public hwy with every other moron. Now that's scary.
But, i would advise to keep them on if you are a newbie until you get the feel of it and feel comfortable.
