Unrelated question. How do you like the Savinis? Any issues with paint or anything?

I don't know if I got lucky but bone stock and I took it to 3 different dyne tune shops because I didn't believe the first one I was putting out 385-390 RWHP. I can ONLY think that since it was really late model 2011 that maybe they made some modifications or I was built a beast.
Yeah, you really don't want to go there with me on the Savinis. Yes, I love them to death and I wouldn't trade them for the World but these are my 2nd set and I've ONLY had the car since April 28, 2011. The first set, the paint chipped/wore off around the lugs in a few months and the carbon was peeling away. So I worked with Savini, whom was VERY professional with me and we agreed to have them make me a new set. This time, I had my painter prep them, etc. The Carbon fiber came out much better this time and I got the custom paint job I originally wanted the first time. The issue I am still having is that Savini drills the lug nut holes to damn small. Even with a perfect fit or tiny bit smaller socket if you go off center just a tad loosening or tightening them you will scuff/crack the paint. They need to drill the lug nut holes maybe a 1/4" bigger and things would be perfect. So I am stuck for the rest of my life anytime I need to remove the wheels be prepared with the touchup paint
For the HUGE price I paid for these wheels, I don't think the craftsmanship and quality assurance is where it needs to be. That is just my opinion but I thought I would share with you my personal experience. I have lots of evidence pictures and brought the car to Savini several times to look over. Obviously wheels are NOT something you mess with every day and I had no reason to be sitting there loosening and tightening my lugs nuts, and the car is garaged so there was no foul play.
