I think I said as much in your clay post and as a collective I think it's always a good idea to remember to respectful of each others ideas, opinions and in here, techniques.

I'm not any kind of pro and you are right there are people who just don't know or care about the swirls in their paint. It's all a matter of what works for them on their cars that matters.

Now if you want to find out the right way, this is still a great resource if you're patient and can shift through the egos to get to the down and dirty basics of any the number of different detailing techniques.
