For those of us that already had ours on order it is a free $1000, not a gimmick. And it doesn't mean you can't negotiate.....it is just a free $1000 off.
For me I had supplier (just above invoice), executive Pin from a friend at GM (a GM executive) which is the same as employee price, so another $1000 off (well below invoice) GM Extended Family credit cards points ($) So the $1000 Private Offer would have been the icing on the cake as they can all be used!
