The graphite color is a 2 stage paint with a silver base coat with a dark tinted clear coat over it to give it a 3 dimensional look with a tad of metallic in it as well. Think of it as a much darker version of Titanium, which was also a 2 stage finish that was discontinued. The graphite finish might be discontinued as well, so this would be your last chance to get set up on it. Gunmetal is not a 2 stage, it's a solid color with a standard clear coat.
