Why would someone post something on an anonymous internet forum looking for opinions and feedback in a world where everyone has different tastes and expect not to get bad feedback. True, people could not be so harsh but if your going to put it out there, don't get all butthurt when someone slams its. People are rude in general when they can get away with it. If a guy/girl likes their stripes or rims or whatever, it shouldnt matter to them what someone else thinks anyway.
