The M1-113 Mobil 1 oil filter is the correct filter for the V8 engines.
I had to replace the PF48 oil filter the service department installed during my Camaro's first oil change because it was leaking. I tried to tighten the PF48 filter and it did not stop leaking. I could not find the "leak source" after I removed the PF48 filter.
I installed the M1-113 filter and tightened it about 3/4 turn (by hand) after the initial gasket contact. The M1-113 filter has been leak free since it was installed 7/7/2009.
