Yup.

Here's what I am doing...

I have an L99 that I am converting to an LS3 (Removing all the active fuel management and variable valve timing). This requiers a new CAM, so I am using the LS9 Cam and Valve Springs. I will add the Edelbrock E-force Supercharger, which is very similar and a lot less expensive as the LS9 Supercharger. Ultimately, I will have a "mock" LS9 (the new one, that is).

The LS9 has:
Dry Sump oil pan
Oil Pump and system so hard cornering wont rob engine of oil.
Oil Squirters under the piston.
Forged Crank and Rods.
High temp valves

From what I was told, the heads, pistons, pushrods, and block are all pretty much the same except for some of oil squirters.
