I've been looking into winter tires too. As I understand it so far:
You have 20" rims because that's part of the RS package but your 2LT does not have the larger brembo brakes that call for the 20" rims. That means you could use a set of 18 or 19 inch rims and tires. The 20" are usually more expensive. Articles on the Tire Rack website mention that a smaller diameter rim, with corresponding taller rubber, is better for handling rougher winter surfaces, like potholes. Good luck
