Question My idea exactly, but wrong bend angle perhaps?

$90.00 for 2 "angle-cut" silicone couplers and clamps, and an aluminum tube? That's pricey! For a few bucks more, folks can get the SLP Blackwing tube + filter.

The intake tube on your website is coming out of the throttle body at an angle (so the "angle-cut" silicone coupler is cut that way to keep it from bulging out because the intake tube is cocked). Just doesn't seem like the "smoothest" airflow.

If the aluminum tube was the right length and had the correct bend angle to it, the silicone couplers would not need to be "angle-cut".

I already have a K&N panel filter. I'm all for DIY, and I was looking for a vendor to supply just the intake tube. That one is not the correct fit, IMO.
