I'm the exception, I guess. I'm
meticulous about my cars, but my house is a wreck. However, in my defense, I have 3 kids and a Newfoundland. They keep it pretty well cluttered. We toook the carpet out to replace it, found somewhat decent wood underneath, and decided to leave it like that for a couple years until the destructo-crew grows up / moves out. :( But I do know what you mean in general. Just thought I'd toss in my .02 cents.
